Coming down our big Kosovo climb, we cruised through an unreal valley!
Down our big climb in Kosovo, we didn’t even touch our bike pedals for over 18 kilometers down into a gorgeous valley cut into the rocks.
It took us a long time to climb 1000m of elevation near Prizren, Kosovo but we made it at last. By far our longest and highest peak of the trip… it was great to relax at the top and talk to some locals.
After some debate, we decided to take the southern route through Kosovo as is shown on our map. Speaking with Jared, he told me that many cyclists he met on his trip told him that the western part of Macedonia is a “must visit.” For this reason, we will turn south through Kosovo and may not even visit the city [...]
